Alice was not happy with Mr. Cat’s reasoning: ‘Time slices and geo-locations have a bearing on people, and that there is order amidst chaos’.
“But what has this story of Kaasi and Kaami got to do with this whole trip – helping me find direction, out from the middle of nowhere wilderness… !?” Alice was pretty annoyed.
‘Everything, and Nothing’ was Mr. Cat’s answer. Alice and Cat Man were in wonderment from Mr. Cat’s Answer.
“What does that mean, Mr. Cat? What is everything, and what is nothing?” Alice could not hide her wonderment. Alice, being the child she is, did not realise that she was asking two of the deepest questions there are – Epic, Surreal to a large extent, and mind-expanding questions.
The question is has a striking resemblance to the numerous searches for an answer across ages and places. A question as close to exploring the true size and shape of the universe and delving into the vast and amazing extent of apparent nothingness.
Alice was, unknowingly, asking a question that sets out to discover what the universe might look like..!
“The journey that Kaasi and Kaami charts could take us from the distant past to the boundaries of the known present, or the future that is changing ever so fast. Along the way we will come across some remarkable stories of people, places and periods that will help us discover the truth about the world that we know, as it is now, and help us in our investigation on how our understanding of our world has been shaped.”
Mr. Cat’s explanation was as intriguing as it sounded – mythical and mystical, at the same time. Too complicated, perhaps, to young Alice! The limits of human perception as to where we are now, and the understanding of the numerous distortions to the stories, over the ages, could stretch our imaginations beyond where the mysteries of the universe lie.
The journey that Kaasi and Kaami have set out is to answer the one very simple question – Nothing. This journey could, perhaps, be unending. Leaving behind the most profound insights about reality that we – humanity – has made, for all to believe. “Everything came from Nothing” or has “Nothing come from Everything?”
This known world of ours – the super-small – has shaped the vast universe we inhabit today. Kaasi and Kaami might prove, through their story, the tales of those countless souls rendered rootless, suffering pangs of separation, leaving their “Rivers of Dreams”, from the Land of the Eternal Virgin, and how they looked for direction and found it.
Meandering forever, these descendants of the Neanderthals have yet to figure out where to go and how to get there. Finding direction is an infinite possibility. The more we get closer to it, the brighter it appears. The farther away we are, it gets dimmer. That’s how celestial bodies are – Stars and Galaxies. They move, keep moving, from each other. As long as they draw strength from each other and payback, as quickly as possible, there will be synergies and energy. Everything meanders, for direction. We too do the same, for we are all Rootless Travelers, for eternity. So be it. We are Meaderthals.

Beautiful. ♥️

As for Alice so for me, a little too esoteric!

Thank you, Sunil. I didn’t mean to read as esoteric! Thank you for your encouraging words, anyway.
